Very Helpful Exercise BookJan 01, 2010
By Michael L. Touna I have a few workout books and this one is a good companion. I love that it offered some new exercises i hadn't tried before. The charts are easy to understand and follow. What's very helpful is all the exercises in the book are indexed in the back with full descriptions. They don't show photos for all the exercises, but it's easy to comprehend, and I've already added some new routines to my workouts. Book is definitely worth the $10 i paid.

Decent summary of a variety of workout optionsMar 31, 2011
By James Papeika If you are looking for one book that has all the answers, you will never find it. If you are looking for a well-organized, basic, concise summary of a variety of training methods without too much scientific theory, this book is worth the money. If terms like EDT, interval training, Tabata, and supersets are new to you, then you will learn something. If your fitness bookshelf is crowded, this book may not teach you anything new. Beginners will also enjoy the exercise section and the nutrition and supplement guides. Beginners will also enjoy the workout variety--working out is certainly more fun if you add some variety. I don't know if the book actually contains 101 workouts, but it does contain a number of unique routines.
Even if you don't follow a specific program exactly (I rarely do), you should find some techniques that you could incorporate into your own routine.
Personally, I am continually looking for variety to keep my workouts interesting and effective, and I enjoy reading books to learn and to get different viewpoints; therefore, since the price is right, I think this book is worthwhile.

This book bad assJan 05, 2011
By topchef1 I have to say this book is full of butt kicking routines. I have been looking for awhile for a book of this caliber. A great variety of workouts and every one of them is for a serious workout. When I first received this book I was a little turned doen because its not very big of a book. But let me tell you it doesnt have to be. Every bit of it is awesome.

Excellent resource for getting back into shapeFeb 28, 2010
By James M. Coffey A well-organized guide for the man determined to get in shape the correct (i.e., old-fashioned) way: a gym routine that addresses all major muscle groups - using weights. Great photographs and the perfect size to take along to the gym.
Exactly what you need to not get boredJan 04, 2012

I was getting bored by performing the same rutines in the gym. With this book I have great programs krafted to push you to get better performance while you maintain fun in the gym. Very professionaly written, it suits if you are just working out regularly to stay fit, but it is even better for those aiming to get a beachbody.
