We recommend using a separate dropper for each essential oil. Note: our 5ml, 10ml, 15ml and 1oz bottles of essential oils include an internal dropper so these plastic droppers are not necessary. But, for larger sizes (2oz or larger), you'll need droppers. You'll also need them for our vials of essential oils sold in our Aromatherapy Starter Kits. For Essential Oils, we do NOT recommend the use of glass droppers with a rubber bulb. The essential oils causes the rubber to deteriorate rapidly. Our plastic droppers are not impervious to the essential oils but usually last for years, especially if you occasionally clean them with alcohol and let them dry out. Helpful hint: attach each dropper to it's bottle with a rubber band - that way you do not mix your essential oils. Sold only in groups of a dozen. | | | Features: | |

Finally something that makes giving medicine to cats easier!Oct 16, 2010

It is almost impossible to give liquid medications to my cats, but with the pipettes it is a lot easier. They are thinner than regular droppers and it can easily be placed at the side of their mouth and done in a quick shot. You have to have a quick solution when giving a cat medicine.

I've been using these for my essential oils. With essential oils, the number of drops is really more important than any other measurement, so I haven't tested out the accuracy of the markings along the side. They seem sturdy enough to stand up to repeated use. The drops that I get from these are uniform in size, which was exactly what I needed. The plastic is thicker than I thought it would be (so more durable), but still easily thin enough to be able to use the dropper as intended.
They're a little hard to clean afterwards. It's hard to get every bit of liquid out of the droppers. I use a different dropper for each oil, so it's less important, but I would like to be able to clean them better.
I wrote the names of the oils on the side with a black Sharpie but they got rubbed off pretty quickly. I think I'm going to have to use tape and write the names of the oils on the tape. Sharpie ink doesn't seem to stick very well.

Because I am allergic to many scented products (most are scented by chemicals not natural products) I use lemon oil, spearmint oil and or peppermint oil and make my own mix to spray when someone walks into my office with a scented product (try to drop theirs to the floor with my natural one), and I use these droppers so I don't waste my oils.

These pipettes are just like the ones I used to use in my biochemistry class- which is what I wanted. They seem to be pretty durable as well as flexible, and I'm thinking about just keeping a couple and donating the rest to my old school.

I purchased these pipettes for use with my fish tanks! They seem to be very well made and durable! I have live aquatic plants and need several for all the nutrients that need to be added! Great price for 12 pack!
