We're in our 60's and just like everybody before us, there comes a time when dryness becomes an issue. My GYN told me about using almond massage oil as an alternative to vaginal estrogen in cases where the woman had breast cancer or is at risk for it. He and his wife are the same age as we are, and he was very frank and honest about using a product like this, and using it liberally. Okay so it can be messy but we can live with mess. He said throw out all the water based and silicone based lubricants, too, including the non-estrogen vaginal moisture suppositories. I had a breast cancer scare myself several years ago and have never believed in the use of estrogen in any form. His openess about this has been a tremendous help to us, including the advice to "use it or lose it," and the massage oil is not harmful in there. Yah, yah, I know. You're young and we're not. Well, hang on Sunshine, your day will come. When it does, and you think your body has turned into sandpaper down there, remember massage oil. Make sure it says massage oil. This sweet almond one is the one we like best of the three we found. We have given all of them a lengthy trial period and this is the one we'll use consistently. If you're my age, don't give up or let go of this part of life if using something like massage oil as a lubricant can let you keep on keeping on!! Go ahead and laugh, all you massage aficionados! Every single one of us who is 60 and older had our day, our time... But it ain't over yet, Kid!!

This works great as a massage oil. However, someone on here talked about it being a superior personal lubricant. It's not. It's not designed for that, says not to use it for that and it will make your vagina feel like you poured acid inside of it.
So if you want massage oil = buy this product
If you want a personal lubricant = no, no, no
Lesson learned: do not trust Amazon reviewer more than the directions on the bottle! Yikes!

This oil works well. It lasts a long time, but doesn't leave skin feeling greasy. The fragrance isn't great, though. I can't really describe it, but it is kind of bitter or medicinal. It isn't overpowering, so the oil is still usable, but I don't think that I would buy it again.

We really like this oil for massages. It's very light and has a very nice aroma. It works well into the skin yet stays "wet" plenty long for nice long massages. I can't think of a downside to this oil.
