After many, many years of ill-health and without a diagnosis from a 'conventional' medical practitioner I finally contacted a naturapathic doctor who after undertaking a saliva test for various hormone levels (cortisol and DHEA, and known as the Adrenal Stress Index test), suggested the initial use of Seriphos. Almost immediately after first using this product the acute anxiety I had experienced for so long suddenly ceased. Further research on my part and on-going support from my naturapathic doctor revealed that with a sub-clinical form of adrenal gland insuffiency (otherwise now known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or sometimes ME), other parts of the endocrine system (hypothalamus and pituitary glands) attempt to compensate by constantly stimulating the exhausted adrenal glands for the production of more hormones. This produces a quite appalling and apparently unique combination of anxiety, sleeplessness and extreme fatigue that fails to allow the adrenals to ever rest and eventually recover. Seriphos seems to work by convincing the hypothalamus and pituitary glands that they don't need to keep up their incessant stimuation of the adrenal glands and for the long time CFS sufferer a wonderful calmness is experienced for the first time in years. This is only the first stage to recovery, however, as the adrenals now need to be worked on and supported via other means. A really wonderful product for the CFS patient.

After consulting with a nutritionist and having some testing done on myself, it was confirmed that I had adrenal fatigue. My body was very low on DHEA and alarmingly high in cortisol levels. The resulting symptoms were fatigue, evening anxiety and increased midriff fat.
It was recommended that I begin on small doses of daily DHEA and include Seriphos daily at dinner.
Now, I am feeling much better with much reduced fatigue and anxiety and now, the midriff fat is disappearing.

I showed my bottle of Seriphos to my doctor before taking it the first time. He said it can be stimulating to some people with insomnia. That's exactly what happened to me. I tried it at various times of day and ended up taking it 15 minutes before breakfast. That schedule worked wonders giving me really good quality sleep at night.
So just be aware you may need to make adjustments as to when you take it and enjoy sleep, wonderful sleep!

This product has changed my life. I decided to try it after reading Julia Ross's books, "The Diet Cure" and "The Mind Cure". I no longer suffer from the constant feelings of overwhelming anxiety and sleepless nights. I also suffered from what I best described as "overwhelming exhaustion". Since using this product, my anxiety has been completely relieved. If I happen to awaken in the night, I immediately fall back to sleep. I do not have any grogginess or hangover then next day, whatsoever. I can truly say Seriphos has changed my life.

I was introduced to this product by my chiropractor/alternative med. Dr. Through saliva testing it was determined that I was in adrenal distress assumed to be due to many external stressors in my life. I was having trouble concentrating & sleeping, experienced weight gain, depression among other symptoms. It took only about 3 days to see an incredible improvement in my overall well being. Very soon many of my symptoms lessend or disappeared completely. My family also uses Seriphos and we all agree that we are all sleeping better, wake up refreshed and are less moody. My 12 year old son sees a difference in his ability to concentrate in school when he is taking Seriphos.
